ENDODONTISTS

Roberto Cristescu

Roberto Cristescu graduated as a dentist in 2004 from the University Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. Then, in 2006, he receives a Master's degree in Biomaterials at the Politechnics University Bucharest. After graduation, he spent several months in the US further deepening his knowledge in endodontology.

In 2011, Roberto completed his training as a dental endodontist at ACTA (Amsterdam). He is a licensed endodontist by the Dutch Association of Endodontology, a Certified Member of the European Society for Endodontology and also an International Member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Roberto has published articles for Endodontic journals. Since 2014, he has founded the independent Educational Platform in Endodontology - RCC ENDODONTICS, for which he regularly teaches courses in the Netherlands and abroad.

Thanos Fasoulas

Thanos Fasoulas graduated as a dentist from Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014. Then, he worked at the endodontic department of the military hospital in Thessaloniki until 2016 during his service with the Greek Army.

In 2016, he moved to the Netherlands and began working at general practices. At the same time, he obtained the Master's degree in Medical Research Methodology at the Medical School of Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2021, Thanos completed his training as a dental endodontist at the University of Ghent, Belgium.

He is currently pursuing a master's course in Clinical Trials at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. He is a member of the Dutch Society of Endodontology, European Society for Endodontology and also American Association of Endodontists.

Petruta Caputa

Petruta Caputa graduated as a dentist in 2011 from the University Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In 2018, Petruta completed her post-academic training as a dental endodontist at ACTA (Amsterdam). She is a licensed endodontist by the Dutch Society of Endodontology and a Certified Member of the European Society for Endodontology.

Her goal is to allow patients to keep their own teeth for as long as possible and to prove that root canal treatments can be a painless experience rather than scary.

Ron Frenchman

Ron Fransman graduated as a dentist from the University of Amsterdam in 1984. He worked part-time in the Endodontology Department of the ACTA for nine years and, after 15 years of general practice with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, graduated as a dental endodontist from the ACTA in 1998 and was recognized by the Dutch Society of Endodontology. He is also a member of the American Association of Endodontics.

In the more than 30 years since graduation, he has taught dozens of courses and lectures nationally and internationally, is a guest lecturer at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation in San Diego, and has published several articles for dental journals and written several chapters for dental books.

He is a member of the Study Club for Dental Education where knowledge is shared with dentists from other disciplines. His main hobby is to perform root canal treatments and to use these to resolve pain issues in his patients.

Had an appointment with dr. Christescu following a root canal treatment that came back again (inflamed and in pain) after 2 years. Had been walking with fear of my own dentist for a while, my new dentist then referred me to Endo En Zo. Could drop by for an intake immediately the following week. dr. Christescu explained well what he was going to do and gave honest advice. Because as it turned out, what? My old dentist wanted to redo the root canal treatment, Dr. Christescu told me that this was pointless, because I could undergo another treatment after 6 months. The 3d photo revealed that there was a fracture in my molar because my previous dentist drilled my canals too wide. Only option is to pull the molar. But after a clear explanation and having avoided a root canal treatment, I am more than relieved! I recommend everyone to immediately request a consultation here when in doubt!
My own dentist had referred me to this practice because of its skill in root canal treatments. Friendly welcome, and because the one before me was running out of time, several staff members apologized. Had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Cristecu who clearly described all the steps and procedures before and during the treatment.
